The Kansas City Royals placed Ryan Bergert on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with a right elbow strain. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
After suffering an injury during a bullpen session on Wednesday, Bergert has been placed on the injured list and will miss the remainder of the season. To fill his spot on the roster, the Royals recalled Luinder Avila from Triple-A Omaha.
