Max Fried struck out 13 batters while allowing just three hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings in Thursday's victory against the Orioles.

After today’s win, Fried now boasts a 2.92 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with 18 wins and five losses across 31 starts this season. This was the second time this season he's posted double-digit strikeouts, and the second time in his entire career reaching 13 total. He's had an excellent first year with the Yankees and will look to close out the regular season next week against the White Sox.
