It was a rough end to the season for the Giants after they had picked up Melvin’s option for 2026 back on July 1st. They went 36-41 to close the season, getting eliminated from playoff contention in the last week of the regular season. Melvin spent the past two years as the Giants manager. It is unclear who the Giants will look to next.
