by Bruno Mulé | Thu, Nov 6th 5:39pm EST
Michael Tonkin cleared waivers on Thursday and has elected to become a free agent. The 35-year-old right-hander lost his place on the Minnesota Twins' 40-man roster after being called up from Triple-A in late July. (Aaron Gleeman)
Fantasy Impact:
In 2025, Tonkin posted a 4.88 ERA and 1.17 WHIP over 24 innings with the Twins. He will now test his value in free agency, though he is not likely to attract more than a minor-league deal.
