The Mariners have acquired right-hander Alex Hoppe from the Red Sox in exchange for Minor League catcher Luke Heyman. (Daniel Kramer on Twitter)

Hoppe will look to compete for a depth role in the bullpen for Seattle. The Mariners designated Tayler Saucedo for assignment as the corresponding move.
