Fantasy Impact:
Mahle is coming off of an injury-plagued 2025 season with the Rangers, but pitched quite well when he was healthy. He pitched to a 1.64 ERA over the first two months of the season and finished the year with a 2.18 ERA in 16 starts (86.2 innings). Mahle was a 13-game winner for the Reds in 2021 and struck out 210 batters in 180 innings that season. His strikeout rate has been on a steady decline since 2020, but his career percentage of 24.1% over his nine seasons is still well above league average. Mahle is expected to fill out a back-of-the-rotation spot for the Giants.
