Dom Nunez has signed a minor league contract to remain with the Cleveland Guardians. The deal includes an invitation to Spring Training. (MLB Trade Rumors)
Fantasy Impact:
Nunez has spent the last two seasons in the Guardians' organization, primarily playing with Triple-A Columbus. He did appear in two games with Cleveland last season and went 2-for-7 at the dish. Regarded more for his glove than his bat, Nunez has 354 plate appearances at the big league level between Colorado and Cleveland and has slashed .182/.280/.371 in parts of four seasons. Nunez will, more than likely, keep the same role with the Guardians as he has had for the past two years.
