Michael Lorenzen signs one-year deal with Rockies

Michael Lorenzen has signed a one-year deal with the Colorado Rockies. The contract is worth $8 million and includes a $9 million club option for 2027. (Jeff Passan on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Colorado will be Lorenzen's seventh different team in, what will be, his 12th Major League season. The righthander has pitched to a 4.08 ERA in 996 career innings while pitching with the Reds, Royals, Rangers, Angels, Tigers, and Phillies. Lorenzen has an above average ground ball rate of 45.2%, which will be helpful pitching in Coors Field. He has been used as a starter and a reliever in his career but, more than likely, will be used as a starter in Colorado.
