Edward Cabrera and his new team, the Chicago Cubs, have agreed on a $4.45 million contract to avoid arbitration for the 2026 season. (Jesse Rogers on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Cabrera, who was traded to the Cubs earlier in the week, went 8-7 with a 3.53 ERA in 26 starts for the Marlins last season. The righthander should be a top-of-the-rotation starter in his first season with the Cubs in 2026.
