Max Meyer and the Miami Marlins have agreed to a one-year deal, avoiding arbitration. Meyer is scheduled to make $980K in 2026. (MLB Transactions on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Meyer has pitched parts of three seasons with the Marlins and has a career ERA of 5.29 in 25 starts. Last season, the righthander started a career-high 12 games and pitched to a 4.73 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 64.2 innings. Meyer will be competing for a spot in the starting rotation during the spring and should be a favorite to claim one of those spots.
