Fantasy Impact:
Caballero was acquired by the Yankees from the Rays at last year's trade deadline and he batted .266 and 15 stolen bases in 40 games with New York. All told, Caballero led all of baseball with 49 stolen bases in 2025 while batting .236 in 126 games. The speedy utilityman will more than likely open the season as the starting shortstop in New York while Anthony Volpe recovers from shoulder surgery. Once Volpe returns, Caballero will likely slide back into a super-utility role.
