Brenton Doyle (wrist) dealing with sprained left wrist

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, Feb 28th 12:11am EST

Brenton Doyle (wrist) has a sprained left wrist and, after already sitting out three spring training games, will be out for a few more contests before being re-evaluated. (Thomas Harding on X)

Fantasy Impact:

The two-time Gold Glove winner had a disappointing year at the plate in 2025 as he batted .233 with 15 home runs and 18 stolen bases. In 2024, Doyle hit .260 with 23 long balls and 30 stolen bases. If the injury is serious enough to force him to miss time, offseason acquisition Jake McCarthy would like slide over to center. There has not been any indication that Doyle's status is in jeopardy for Opening Day. However, more information should be forthcoming when he gets re-evaluated.
