Ryan Jeffers agrees to one-year deal with Twins

Ryan Jeffers and the Minnesota Twins have agreed to a one-year deal worth $6.7 million to avoid arbitration. (Darren Wolfson on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Jeffers' power numbers went from 21 home runs in 2024 to just nine last season. However, the catcher improved his batting average 40 points - from .226 to .266 - in his sixth season with Minnesota. Jeffers is a career .239 hitter with 68 home runs in 515 games with the Twins. He is expected to be the starting catcher for Minnesota in 2026.
