Vidal Brujan claimed off waivers by Twins

Vidal Brujan has been claimed off of waivers by the Minnesota Twins after being designated for assignment by the Braves last week. In a corresponding move, Mickey Gasper was DFA'd by the Twins to make room for Brujan on the 40-man roster. (Dan Hayes on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Brujan played with the Cubs, Orioles, and Braves last season and combined to hit .253 over 95 plate appearances. In parts of five seasons at the major league level, Brujan is a career .199 hitter over 645 plate appearances. The versatile infielder will look to claim a spot on the Twins' opening day roster during spring training.
