Fantasy Impact:
A cold has prevented McLean from reporting to Team USA, and he remains at Mets camp in Florida. Manager Mark DeRosa said Monday that McLean is tentatively scheduled to start March 10 against Team Italy in the WBC. DeRosa established his rotation for pool play with Logan Webb starting Game 1 against Brazil, Tarik Skubal taking Game 2 against Britain, Paul Skenes slated for Game 3 against Mexico, and McLean penciled in for Game 4. Team USA is in Houston, with Game 1 set for Friday. The Mets named offseason acquisition Freddy Peralta as their Opening Day starter, with their first series coming against Pittsburgh.
