Josh Sborz re-signs with Rangers on minor league deal

Josh Sborz has re-signed with the Texas Rangers on a minor league deal. The contract includes an invitation to Spring Training. (Texas Rangers on X)
Fantasy Impact:
A Rangers' World Series hero from 2023, Sborz has dealt with injuries over the last two seasons and, in fact, missed all of 2025 due to shoulder surgery. He has been limited to just 16.1 innings over the last two seasons after helping Texas to its first World Series title. Sborz pitched 10 games in the 2023 postseason and had a 0.75 ERA with one save in 12 innings. The righthander has pitched to a 4.96 ERA in parts of six seasons with the Dodgers and Rangers. He'll have every opportunity to crack the Rangers' opening day roster during the spring.
