Iriarte was removed from the club's 40-man roster after they acquired right-handers Jordan Hicks and David Sandlin in a trade with the Red Sox. The 24-year-old Iriarte struggled in 2025, posting a 7.24 ERA in 35 Triple-A appearances, five of which were starts.
