Gunnar Henderson working on speed over winter

Henderson stole 30 bases in 2025 and ranked in the 79th percentile in sprint speed. He spent the offseason working out at Tinsley Performance with a focus on increasing his speed. (Andy Kostka)
Fantasy Impact:
The training has concentrated on Henderson's first few steps out of the batter's box, specifically maintaining a more horizontal body position rather than becoming too vertical too quickly. Henderson dealt with a shoulder impingement throughout much of 2025 but is now fully healthy heading into the 2026 season.
