Dominic Pipkin signs minor league deal with Pirates

Dominic Pipkin has signed a minor league deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The righthander had spent his entire minor league career in the Phillies' organization. (MiLB Central on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Pipkin was selected in the ninth round out of high school in the 2018 MLB Draft. The righthander has spent parts of six seasons in the minors and has a 4.75 ERA in 267 career innings. Pipkin, however, has pitched just 34 total innings over the last three seasons. He last toed the rubber in 2024 and allowed no earned runs in nine innings with ten strikeouts. He will likely open the 2026 campaign with High-A Greensboro or Double-A Altoona.
