Lefthander Kyle Harrison has been traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Milwaukee Brewers, along with infielder David Hamilton and lefty Shane Drohan. The Red Sox get infielders Caleb Durbin, Andruw Monasterio, and Anthony Seigler. Boston also receives a Competitive Balance Round B pick. (Will Sammon on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Harrison has had some success at the big league level, pitching to a 4.39 ERA with 191 strikeouts in 194.2 career innings with the Giants and Red Sox. Last season, he split time as a starter and reliever and posted a 4.04 ERA in 35.2 innings across 11 appearances. He also spent time in Triple-A and had a 3.66 ERA with 88 strikeouts in 76.1 innings. Harrison could break camp in a swingman role in Milwaukee with a good spring, but is more likely going to open the year with Triple-A Nashville.
