Baltimore Orioles president of baseball operations and general manager Mike Elias said on Wednesday that Jordan Westburg is dealing with a right oblique injury, but is expected to be fine for opening day. (Andy Kostka on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Westburg will miss the start of spring games but should ramp up afterward and be ready for opening day. He was spotted running on Wednesday, which is a positive sign. Last season, he slashed .265/.313/.457 in 85 games and is expected to be the Baltimore Orioles’ everyday third baseman.
