Oscar Mercado signs with Diamondbacks

Mercado will join the Diamondbacks in big-league camp with a chance to earn a spot on the roster. Mercado has not appeared in the majors since 2023. The 31-year-old outfielder spent last year with the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate, posting a .249/.369/.373 slash line with 11 homers and 40 steals over 115 games.
