Colin Selby (shoulder) has been placed on the 60-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. The move allows Jackson Kowar a spot on the 40-man roster. (Jake Rill on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Selby, reportedly, is not dealing with any structural damage but will open the season on the injured list. Selby appeared in 11 games for Baltimore last season and had a 3.21 ERA with a 14:2 K:BB ratio in 14 innings. He appeared in 25 games with Triple-A Norfolk and posted a 2.45 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 25.2 innings. He'll fill a middle relief role in the Orioles' organization once he returns.
