Eli White positioned for increased playing time

Profar is set to serve a suspension for the entire 2026 season, pending an appeal. His absence creates a need in left field, where he was projected to share time with Mike Yastrzemski. (Gabriel Burns)
Fantasy Impact:
White has hit .248/.305/.440 against left-handed pitchers over the past three seasons and provides strong defense. He is viewed as the leading internal option to fill Profar's role. Mauricio Dubon could compete for that position later in the season, but he will initially be required at shortstop with Ha-Seong Kim projected to remain out until May due to a finger injury.
