Drew Sommers optioned to minor-league camp

Sommers allowed two runs without surrendering a hit across three Grapefruit League innings. He walked four batters, hit two with pitches and threw one wild pitch during his spring appearances. (Chris McCosky)
Fantasy Impact:
Detroit optioned Sommers to minor-league camp on Friday. He will join Triple-A Toledo's bullpen to open the season.
