Isaac Paredes could start at third base if Pena unavailable

Pena suffered a fracture in the tip of his right ring finger and will undergo reevaluation in two weeks. Whether he can be ready for Opening Day will be determined after that examination. (Foul Territory)
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Joe Espada said Friday on Foul Territory that Paredes would start at third base if Pena remains unavailable for the opener, with Carlos Correa moving to shortstop in that scenario. Houston's crowded infield typically leaves Paredes without a clear starting role when fully healthy. Pena's injury could create an opportunity for regular playing time, at least temporarily.
