Andrew Walters (lat) to miss start of regular season

Andrew Walters has begun throwing bullpen sessions and tossing from 90–120 feet on flat ground. Despite the progress in his recovery from right lat surgery, he will miss the start of the 2026 season. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Walters underwent lat surgery in June 2025 and continues to rehab in camp. While he is scheduled to begin throwing live batting practice in the second half of March, he still has a ways to go before returning to game action and will start the season on the injured list.
