Cubs infielder Jonathon Long has turned a corner in his recovery from a left elbow sprain, according to manager Craig Counsell.
Fantasy Impact:
Long sustained a left elbow sprain in a defensive collision back on Feb. 21 and was initially slow in his recovery, although Counsell's update is a positive one. The 24-year-old is an exciting first base prospect after hitting 20 homers alongside a .305 average and an .883 OPS across 140 Triple-A games a season ago.
