He participated in fielding practice on Sunday and said afterward: "I felt great. It's more the reactive. Like, anytime it's planned, they feel good about it. But the quick reaction, in-game reaction that you can't predict, that's where they're just being more cautious. But we're getting close." An additional simulated game is scheduled within the next few days. The weekend represents a target for his first exhibition appearance, which would provide opportunity for three to four additional games before the season begins.
