Stowers (hamstring) has dealt with a mild right hamstring strain. His recovery has advanced to the point where game action is approaching. (Christina De Nicola)
Fantasy Impact:
Saturday's Grapefruit League matchup against St. Louis will mark his spring debut. Miami plans to use Stowers in the outfield rather than easing him back as the designated hitter. Opening Day availability is not expected to be jeopardized.
