Angels right-hander Ben Joyce (shoulder) has been throwing bullpens without issue, his latest coming on Tuesday, and is nearing playing in minor league games. (MLB.com)

Joyce's participation in minor league games is a precursor to his return to Cactus League action. The 25-year-old flamethrower posted a 2.08 ERA in 31 outings in 2024, but shoulder surgery limited him to just five appearances in 2025.
