Bryan Hoeing (elbow) is set to have flexor tendon surgery and will miss the entire 2026 season according to Padres' manager, Craig Stammen. (Sammy Levitt on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Tough news for Hoeing and for the Padres as the righthander was expected to contribute in San Diego's bullpen this season. He was shut down last week, weighed his options, and elected to go for surgery. Hoeing has been limited to just 61.2 innings over the last two seasons and has posted a 2.34 ERA during the stretch. He'll look to be ready for the start of the 2027 season.
