Christian Moore has been sent to Triple-A by the Los Angeles Angels. (Bill Shaikin on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Moore was given an extensive look by the Angels this spring, but he only hit .175 (7-for-40) with a home run and three RBI in 14 games. He was selected eighth overall in the 2024 MLB Draft - one pick ahead of the Pirates' Konnor Griffin, who is widely considered the top prospect in baseball. Moore made his major league debut last season, but he hit just .198 with seven home runs in 184 plate appearances. He has hit .292 in the minors with 13 home runs and 12 stolen bases in 93 career games. Moore will begin the season in Triple-A El Paso, but it's likely he'll get another shot with the Angels at some point in 2026. A Christian Moore-Zach Neto combination up the middle would be intriguing.
