Tigers left-hander Framber Valdez will start the second game of the regular season, according to manager A.J. Hinch. (Chris McCosky on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hinch considered splitting up Tarik Skubal and Valdez, both left-handers, but ultimately opted not to. The Tigers brought Valdez in on a three-year pact this winter after he posted a 3.36 ERA across 188 outings (166 starts) in an eight-year run with the Houston Astros.
