Travis Bazzana won't make Opening Day roster

Guardians second base prospect Travis Bazzana has been informed he will not make the club's Opening Day roster, according to manager Stephen Vogt. (Tim Stebbins on Twitter)

Bazzana will remain in big league camp for a few days, where he has hit .286 with a homer and an .833 OPS in 15 trips to the plate while also suiting up for Team Australia at the World Baseball Classic. The 23-year-old hit .245 with nine homers, 12 steals, and an .813 OPS across 84 games between Double-A and Triple-A in 2025.
