Zyhir Hope reassigned to minor league camp

by David Leisering | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Mar 16th 11:53pm EDT

Outfielder Zyhir Hope has been reassigned to minor league camp by the Los Angeles Dodgers. (Los Angeles Dodgers on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Hope struggled this spring, going just 6-for-36 with five RBI in 20 games with the Dodgers. He is ranked as the second- or third-best prospect (depending on the list) in the Dodgers' organization and is #63 on Baseball America's Top 100 list. Hope quickly made it to Double-A as a 20-year-old last season, and went 6-for-19 with five RBI and a stolen base with Tulsa. In three minor league seasons, Hope is hitting .275 with 25 home runs and 39 stolen bases in 200 career games. He will open the season with Double-A Tulsa and, while a September call-up is not out of the question this year, Hope is still likely a year or two away from being a factor in Los Angeles.
