Montgomery slashed .272/.364/.416 with a 28.7 percent strikeout rate across 34 Double-A games in 2025, then posted a 1.161 OPS over 12 Arizona Fall League appearances. He carried that momentum into spring, hitting .348 with one home run, zero walks and six strikeouts across 24 plate appearances. (Brooke Fletcher)
