Jose Espada optioned after failing to crack Orioles bullpen

Espada spent all of 2025 in the minors before earning a September callup and making one relief appearance for Baltimore. He carried that into a competitive spring, allowing just two unearned runs on one hit and one walk across four Grapefruit League innings, but it wasn't enough to secure a spot in the Opening Day bullpen.
