Eloy Jimenez has been reassigned to minor league camp by the Toronto Blue Jays. (Toronto Blue Jays on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Jimenez had a pretty solid spring, batting .286 (12-for-42) with four doubles and two home runs in 18 games. Still only 29 years old, Jimenez broke into the majors in a big way in 2019 when he hit .267 with 31 home runs for the White Sox. However, he has not been able to recreate his rookie campaign and has not appeared in a big league game since 2024 when he combined to hit .238 with six home runs in 98 games with the White Sox and Orioles. Jimenez will look to carry his successful spring over into the start of the year at Triple-A Buffalo.
