Daylen Lile set to start in right field for Nationals on Opening Day

With Dylan Crews and Robert Hassell both opening the year at Triple-A, Lile is expected to be Washington's right fielder on Opening Day alongside James Wood in left and Jacob Young in center. He slashed .299/.347/.498 with nine home runs and eight steals across 91 games in his 2025 rookie season.
