Hurter was in a battle to lock down one of the final spots in the Tigers' bullpen in camp and posted a 3.12 ERA this spring to help his case. The big left-hander owns a tidy 2.49 ERA across 53 appearances and 108 1/3 innings for the Tigers since debuting in the 2024 season.
