Brandon Walter (elbow) placed on 60-day IL

The Astros have placed left-hander Brandon Walter on the 60-day injured list as he continues to recover from September 2025 Tommy John surgery. (Brian McTaggart on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Walter will certainly miss at least the 2027 season, but there's a chance he could be ready to begin the 2027 season or return shortly thereafter. The 29-year-old posted a 3.35 ERA in nine starts with the Astros in 2025, as well as a dominant 2.08 ERA in 11 outings (seven starts) with Triple-A Sugar Land a season ago.
