Reynaldo Lopez very effective in 2026 debut

Reynaldo Lopez allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out three over six-plus innings in Saturday's win over the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
For a pitcher who missed basically all of last season due to injury and showed some questionable velocity during Spring Training, this was a very encouraging effort from Lopez. The 2024 All-Star fired six shutout frames before surrendering a lead-off homer to begin the seventh and subsequently exiting. The Braves' offense was able to rally back, leaving Lopez with a no-decision. The right should take the mound again Thursday in Arizona.
