Luis Morales allowed five earned runs on five hits while also striking out five and walking two over 4 1/3 innings in an A's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jays Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Morales struggled to fool a prolific Toronto lineup, allowing three home runs in his first start on the mound in 2026. The 23-year-old is one of many questionable options in the rotation to begin the season for manager Mark Kotsay after recording a 1.15 WHIP and 3.14 ERA in 10 appearances (4-3, 43 strikeouts) on the mound during the 2025 season.
