Rhett Lowder solid in season debut Sunday versus Red Sox
by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Mon, Mar 30th 7:41am EDT
Reds right-hander Rhett Lowder was solid in his season debut against the Red Sox on Sunday, tossing five innings of two-run ball in a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Lowder scattered three hits while walking a pair and striking out five in his five innings of work on Sunday. The 24-year-old was the Reds' first-round pick, seventh overall, in the 2023 draft and debuted with a stellar 1.17 ERA in six starts last season. Despite the solid outing, Lowder doesn't project as an impact starter in fantasy circles quite yet.
