Nolan McLean fans eight in Mets extra-inning loss

McLean posted a 2.06 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 57:16 K:BB across 48 major-league innings in 2025 and made his 2026 debut Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight over five innings. He struggled with his command early before settling in, striking out four of the final seven batters he faced and generating 12 swinging strikes on 84 pitches.
Fantasy Impact:
McLean did not factor into the decision in the 4-3 extra-inning loss to Pittsburgh and lines up for a road start against the Giants next weekend.
