Grant Holmes logs five frames in loss to Royals

Grant Holmes allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings in Sunday's loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes is one of several Braves hurlers who entered this year with injury concerns, as an elbow issue forced him to miss the final two months of last season. Considering that, this 2026 debut is encouraging despite the so-so results on his stat line. Holmes had an excellent spring and better outings should be on the way for the 30-year-old righty. Holmes should take the ball again on Friday in Arizona.
