Ryan Johnson struggles in first career start Monday

Ryan Johnson allowed six runs on seven hits in 3.1 innings in his first career start on Monday as the Angels dropped a 7-2 decision to the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson had a great spring, posting a 3.05 ERA in 20.2 innings to crack the Opening Day roster. However, he allowed three runs in the first and three more in the third and never got going against the Cubs' offense. The young righthander walked four and struck out two and needed 80 pitches to record 10 outs. Johnson was used as a reliever last season, appearing in 14 games at the big league level. He may just be keeping the fifth spot in the rotation warm until Grayson Rodriguez is able to join the staff.
