Ryan Weathers allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over 4 1/3 innings in Monday’s 2-1 loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Weathers was impressive in his first start on the mound of the season, throwing 64% of his pitches for strikes. The left-hander will look to offer manager Aaron Boone more of the swing-and-miss stuff that he possessed Monday night as part of a Yankees rotation without both Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) to begin the season.
