Elly De La Cruz plays long ball in losing effort Tuesday

Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz hit his second home run of the season on Tuesday as part of an 8-3 loss to the visiting Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
De La Cruz's eighth-inning solo home run cut the Pirates' lead to 6-2, but it was too little too late in this one. A consensus top-10 pick in fantasy drafts this spring, it's been a slow five-game start to the season for the 24-year-old as he is just 4-for-20 at the plate, and despite hitting a pair of homers in that time, he also has yet to steal a base and has been caught stealing on his only attempt of the young season.
